  • Legacy bar

I think there should be a legacy bar implemented into the game. Each Single, Album, EP, Live Album, and etc will have a bar that will determine the success of the project. When an unknown artist release a project, it will start out as a flop and the legacy bar will grow based off of sales/RIAA, awards/nominations, streams, quality, critical reviews, video counts, longevity on the charts, and chart position; therefore making it a Classic. So, it will start out as a Flop, to a Bop, to a Hit and eventually becoming a Classic. Single/Albums can start out as a Bop or a Hit based off of the artist's popularity, chart position, and quality.

Also, there should be an overall legacy bar for the artist as well. An unknown artist will start out as a Flop/Nobody and their legacy title will progress based off of how many hits or classics single/albums (albums should have the most impact) they have in their discography, awards, and sold out shows/touring. The artist's success will help elevate them to a higher title like a 1 Hit Wonder (Iggy Azalea, Vanilla Ice, Tyga, Fetty Wap) to being Popular (Ciara, Trey Songz, Fifth Harmony, Ed Sheeran) to an Icon (Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Beyoncè, Rihanna), and eventually becoming a Legend (Mariah Carey, Madonna, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston). Gaining the title of an Icon or a Legend should be hard to achieve because there's a lot of Popular artists, but not a lot of Legends in the music industry. For a challenge, if an artist is releasing flop after flop, their legacy bar and popularity can go down; unless the artist is a Legend.
