    Early Life
Armani Marie Bijoux was born on October 22, 2000, in Tabarre, Haiti. Her mother, Luisah (Morein), is of Afro-Haitian background, and her father, Damon Bijoux, was an accountant of Afro-Haitian and Argentinian descent. Armani has two sisters, Troian and Rhea Bijoux, and a half-sister on her mothers side from a previous relationship. She grew up in a two bedroom home in Tabarre and helped her mother with her clothes washing service as a child. Her childhood was greatly affected by the Haitian earthquake in 2010, in which she lost her father. As a child she was often taken to counselling due to the massive affect the death of her father had on her mental health. Armani grew up listening to reggae and Haitian rap music and began singing classes when she was just eight. She attended Lycee Jean Marie Vincent de Tabarre. She never graduated, however, as she chose to pursue a career in music.

In 2012, her mother, along with her two brothers and half-sister, took them over to the United States in order to pursue a new life following the death of her father.

    2015-2017: Beginnings and debut
In 2015, Armani's mother began her mission to ensure that Armani would find a way into the music industry. Following the upload of one of Armani's performances on YouTube, popular production group Stargate reached out to her. In between schooling, Armani worked on recording demo tapes under the guidance of Stargate. Among the tapes were the future smash hits "Vacation" and "TG4M".

Armani's demo was shipped out to ABO Entertainment, among other labels, where she was called in for a meeting almost immediately. At her audition, she performed Mariah Carey's Emotions (1991), as well as the demo tracks "Vacation" and "TG4M". The CEO of ABO Entertainment was so impressed with the audition that he closed a six-album deal then and there. Following her signing, all other label meetings were cancelled, and she was relocated to ABO's headquarters in New York City to begin work on her debut album.

Following her relocation, ABO and Stargate did the A&R for Armani's debut album and spent the next four months recording and completing her debut album. She worked with a few different R&B producers to complete the album, primarily Stargate. With several songs to choose as the lead single, "Paradise" was chosen because it seemed best suited for a summer release. In May 2017, her debut single, "Paradise", was released which charted successfully in the United States, peaking at number twelve on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song was later certified triple platinum by the RIAA.

Waves was released in August 2017. It debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and received a double platinum certification from the RIAA, denoting shipments of 2,000,000 units. The album sold over two million copies worldwide. Two promotional singles were released in the week leading up to release, "Waves" and "Stay With Me". A second single, "Skrt Skrt", was not as successful as its predecessor, however it still charted in the top twenty in the United States, and became her first single to chart internationally, in Canada at number forty-two. "Vacation" was released as the third and final single, and it became the albums most successful, charting atop the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The single was later certified 5x Platinum by the RIAA. Aside from work on music, Armani had a cameo appearance in the Disney feature-film Moana, released in November 2016.

The album reached number one in the United States, where it sold 440,000 copies in its first week, as well as the top five of Europe and Oceania. The album became Armani's first to be certified triple platinum by the RIAA, after selling over 3,000,000 units. The album has surpassed over 3,700,000 units worldwide. "Sunrise", the album's second single, was an international breakthrough, reaching the top five in four territories, including number one in the United States. Two more singles were released from the album: "TG4M and "Promise Me", and they performed similarly to the other singles.

Around early 2019, Armani had begun work on her third studio album, Good Girl. Bad Girl.. With the help of various new music producers, Armani embraced a more pop-influenced sound for her new album. Released in May 2019, the album charted at number one in four territories, including the United States and Europe, as well as the top five of Latin America and the United Kingdom. The album received her most positive critical reviews of her first three albums, with a 90% on Metacritic.

The lead single, "Stand By Me", topped the charts in three territories, and spent twenty-four weeks in the top ten of the United States. It was Armani's first single to be named one of the best-selling singles worldwide, with sales of over 10 million copies. The songs "Speed", "Wish I Didn't Love You" and "Music (Makes Me)" were also released as singles, with the middle becoming an international hit. In support of the album, Armani began the Good Girls and Bad Girls Tour in September 2019, with 60 shows across North America, Europe and Oceania.
