    2013

In early 2013, Naya started work on her debut studio effort. Recording sessions were cut short, however, as she was to begin promotion across America. On February 14, she begun a promotional tour across the States, where she performed both original material and cover songs. During her studio sessions, she created 12 original songs with Ryan Tedder, Pharrell Williams, Dr Dre and DJ Mustard serving as producers. All songs were written entirely by Naya.

In between performances at theatres, Naya appeared on local radio stations and magazines. She also made a few television appearances talking about how she was able to go from a New Zealand school girl to being discovered by Pharrell Williams. In September Naya re-entered the studio to complete the recording of her debut album. During these sessions, she worked with M.I.A, No I.D., Pharrell and Basshunter. The sessions lasted until early December.

For the rest of the month, Naya begun international promotion, focused mainly in Oceania and the UK.
